Nicolae Iorga

Nicolae Iorga was a multifaceted individual who held various occupations, including politician, poet, writer, historian, philosopher, playwright, journalist, orientalist, professor, translator, linguist, and literary historian. He was a citizen of the Kingdom of Romania and held Romanian nationality.

Iorga was born on January 17, 1871, in Botoșani, and passed away on November 27, 1940, in Târgșoru Vechi. He received his education from various prestigious institutions, such as Alexandru Ioan Cuza University, Humboldt University of Berlin, Leipzig University, and École pratique des hautes études.
