Massimo Ambrosini is a former Italian football player born on May 29, 1977, in Pesaro, Italy. He played as a midfielder and was known for his time at AC Milan. Ambrosini holds Italian citizenship and nationality.
During his career, Ambrosini earned numerous awards while playing for AC Milan and the Italy national team. At Milan, he became an Italian Champion four times (1995/96, 1998/99, 2003/04, 2010/11) and also won the Italian Cup (2002/03) and the Italian Super Cup (2011). In European competitions, he claimed the UEFA Champions League title twice (2002/03, 2006/07), the UEFA Super Cup twice (2003, 2007), and the FIFA Club World Cup once (2007). Massimo Ambrosini is also a member of the AC Milan Hall of Fame.
On the international stage, Ambrosini represented the Italy national team, earning a silver medal at the European Championship in 2000.
