Maggie Wheeler was born on August 7, 1961 in New York City, New York, USA. She is an actress, known for The parent trap (1998), Friends(1994) and The Addams Family (2019). She has been married to Daniel Borden Wheeler since October 20, 1990. They have two children.

Trivia

• Played Marcy in the original pilot for the comedy series Suddenly Susan (1996). A few months after the pilot was shot, the format of the show was changed and the character later became Vicki and went to Kathy Griffin.

• Former girlfriend of David Duchovny.

• Auditioned for the role of Monica on Friends (1994) Vicki on Suddenly Susan (1996) and Debra on Everybody Loves Raymond (1996). Didn't get any of these parts, but appeared on Friends (1994) and Everybody Loves Raymond (1996) in recurring roles.

• Has two daughters, Juno and Gemma, and they are five years apart in age. She really was pregnant with her eldest daughter when her Friends (1994) character Janice turned up heavily pregnant in one episode of the sitcom.

• Her nasal voice as "Janice Litman" in Friends (1994) is not her real voice. Her real voice is actually a normal female voice and can be heard in shows such as Everybody Loves Raymond (1996).

• Voiced all the female characters, namely the evil Melodia and the heroic Emily Hart/Steelheart on the Silver Hawks (1986) animated series of the mid-1980s.
