Luigi Russolo (30 April 1885 – 4 February 1947) was an Italian composer, artist, musician, and painter. Born in Portogruaro and holding Italian citizenship, Russolo was educated at Brera Academy in Milan.

Throughout his career, Russolo explored various genres of music, including noise music, futurism, and experimental music. In addition to his musical accomplishments, he was also a painter.

Russolo passed away in Laveno-Mombello, Italy, at the age of 61.
