Levante Beach is one of the best known beaches in Europe. It is located next to the
Rincon of Loix and borders on the north with the Sierra Helada of Punta Pinet and on the
south side with Punta Canfali up to the centre of Benidorm. It is more than 2 kilometres
long and has an average width of about 55 metres. This means that. despite the fact that
the beach can be crowded from early morning. you should not have any problems finding
space even if you arrive later.
The beaches of Benidorm point south. This is the explanation for its special microclimate
with mild temperatures and that, unlike other Valencian coastal towns, it receives more
hours of sunshine.
This urban beach, formed by an extension of fine golden sand and easy access by street.
has a clear, shallow and relatively warm water, which makes it perfect for families with
children. It is true that if we go out to sea we will find a rocky strip covered with
algae/moss, which is easy to slip on. Despite this, there is no need to wear booties or
similar footwear.
It has a multitude of SERVICES, among them:
- Showers, deckchair rental, access for people with reduced mobility, rescue service,
children’s play areas (also in the water. with floating platforms and slides)
- Rental of nautical equipment (jet skis, windsurfing, water skiing, wakeboarding, pedal
boats, parasailing)
- Free parking is difficult to find in high season. For this reason Benidorm has a blue zone,
although in the months of July and August, especially at weekends, it is more difficult to
find space. As we move away from the beach, there is more possibility of parking.
The Levante beach does NOT have beach bars, but that is not a problem because this
beach has a large promenade that runs along the entire length of the beach full of all
kinds of restaurants, bars, ice cream parlors, cafes, pubs and shopping areas, as well as
the most famous nightlife area.
