Three knee reconstructions, hamstring issues, and some rotten bad luck have limited Croker's NRL career that started with one game at Canberra in 2016 before joining the Sea Eagles in 2018.
A former half/five-eighth, Croker played just 12 games in his first two seasons at Manly due to injury.
However, a permanent move to hooker has turned Croker's game and fortunes around, having played 46 matches over the past two seasons.
Croker is highly respected by his team-mates for his grit, tremendous work rate, and leadership skills. He was the only Manly player to be placed inside the NRL's top 10 for most tackles in a season in 2021.
Off the field, Lachlan is undertaking a Bachelor of Criminology and Criminal Justice course.
