A member of the board of Burnley FC since 2010, John was its Co-Chairman from 2012 to 2015, overseeing a period of significant growth and success including promotion to the Premier League for the 2014-15 season.
As a Director of UCFB, John has played a key role in the institution’s growth to Wembley Stadium and Etihad Stadium since its inception at Burnley’s Turf Moor stadium.
John is a global leader within trading markets, including having co-founded Freight Investor Services Ltd UK (FIS) in 2002. Since its foundation he has seen sustained growth in every year of operation, as well as the company’s expansion from its London base to the United States, China, India, Singapore and Greece.
