Johan Hjort

Johan Hjort (1869-1948) was a Norwegian biologist and professor, who is best known for his work in the field of marine environments. He was born on February 18, 1869, in Oslo, Norway, and maintained his Norwegian citizenship throughout his life. Hjort received his education at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich.

Throughout his career, Hjort held positions as both a professor and biologist. He eventually passed away in Oslo on October 7, 1948.
