Indro Montanelli (1909-2001) was an Italian journalist, film director, screenwriter, writer, and historian. He was born in Fucecchio, Italy and held Italian citizenship. Montanelli was educated at the University of Florence.
Montanelli founded the newspaper Il Giornale. He died in Milan at the age of 92.
