Henrik Ibsen

Henrik Ibsen was a Norwegian poet, playwright, author, artist, and writer. He was born on March 20, 1828, in Skien, Norway and died on May 23, 1906, in Oslo, Norway. His birth name was Henrik Johan Ibsen.

Ibsen was the son of Knud Ibsen and Marichen Altenburg. He was the father of Sigurd Ibsen. Known by the pseudonym Brynjolf Bjarme, Ibsen had multiple aliases including ヘンリク.

His career mainly focused on writing poetry and drama. Some of his notable works include A Doll's House, Hedda Gabler, An Enemy of the People, Peer Gynt, The Wild Duck, and Rosmersholm. Additionally, Ibsen was also the author of Ganashatru.

Throughout his life, Henrik Ibsen held citizenship in Norway and identified as a Norwegian national.
