George Noble Plunkett (1851-1948) was a diplomat and politician born and raised in Dublin with citizenship in the Republic of Ireland, Irish Republic, and Irish Free State. He was educated at the University of Dublin.
Throughout his career, Plunkett held various positions in both diplomatic and political fields. His diplomatic service involved representing Ireland in countries such as the United States, where he was a Delegate of the Irish Provisional Government. In his political career, he was a member of the Irish Constituent Assembly and later on, he served as a TD (Member of Parliament) for the Dublin North Constituency. Additionally, Plunkett supported the Sinn Fein movement and the Irish Republican Army throughout the Irish National Liberation Struggle.
George Noble Plunkett passed away on December 12, 1948, in Dublin.
