Fritz Pregl

Fritz Pregl (born on September 3, 1869, in Ljubljana, died on December 13, 1930, in Graz) was a chemist, physicist, physician, pharmacist, and professor. He had citizenship in Austria, Austria-Hungary, and the Kingdom of Yugoslavia.

Pregl was educated at the University of Graz, where he later served as a professor. His doctoral advisor was Wilhelm Ostwald . Pregl was known for his work on microelemental analysis and held nationality in Austria-Hungary.

Throughout his career, Fritz Pregl received several prestigious awards, including the 1923 Nobel Prize in Chemistry and the Lieben Prize.
