Emily Brontë

Emily Brontë was born on July 30, 1818, in Thornton, West Yorkshire, England. She was a writer, teacher, novelist, and poet. Her father was Patrick Brontë, and her mother was Maria Branwell. Emily Brontë also had a pseudonym, Ellis Bell.

Brontë's notable works include "Wuthering Heights" and "Poems by Currer, Ellis, and Acton Bell". She was the founder of "Wuthering Heights" and author of the novel. Her genres were poetry and fiction.

Emily Brontë was educated at Cowan Bridge School and worked as a governess as part of her occupations. She held British nationality and was part of the literature, author, writer, and book industries.

Brontë passed away on December 19, 1848, in Haworth.
