Elias Canetti

Elias Canetti (1905 - 1994) was a United Kingdom citizen and an accomplished writer, playwright, chemist, and author, who was born in Ruse, Bulgaria. He had several occupations in his lifetime, and he received a diverse education, graduating from the University of Vienna. Canetti passed away in Zürich on August 14, 1994.

Throughout his career, Elias Canetti authored a notable work, the short story 'Auto-da-Fé'. His mastery in various spheres of occupation and his significant contributions to literature were duly acknowledged when he was awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1981.
