Helen Davydovna Yarmak (born July 6, 1949, Kiev, Kiev region, Ukrainian SSR) is a Russian designer and head of the Helen Yarmak House.
Born in Kiev, she graduated from Kiev State University and worked in her specialty at the cybernetic research institute. She is a candidate of mathematical sciences. At the beginning of the '90s she started designing and producing clothes. The first models were labelled as "Helen", then the brand "Helen Yarmak" appeared, which became world famous. Among the devotees of Yarmak are celebrities such as Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Beyonce, Chloë Sevigny, Lucy Leu, Jim Carrey, Queen Latifah, Catherine Deneuve, Whitney Houston, Kim Cattrall, Patricia Field and many others.
