Laurent Dubreuil (eng. Laurent Dubreuil; b. July 25, 1992, Levy, Quebec) is a Canadian speed skater, world champion (2021). Specializes in distances of 500 and 1000 meters.
Biography
Laurent Dubray started skating at the age of 4 in his hometown at the CPV Lévis club. His father Robert Dubray and his mother (Ariane Loignon) are Olympians in speed skating and short track. His father is also the executive director of the Fédération de patinage de vitesse du Québec, and his brother Daniel was also a member of the Canadian team at the 2012 World Junior Championships. Laurent participated in the Quebec Games in athletics and table tennis and also played football for seven seasons.

He was in 2011 honorary President of the Juvénat Notre-Dame "Race Enfant Soleil", and in 2012 honorary President of the Défi Modification Jeunesse. In 2012, he took 1st place in the 500-meter distance at the World Junior Speed Skating Championships, and 3rd place in the 1000—meter distance.
At the 2014 World Speed Skating Championships in the sprint all-around, he took 9th place. The following year, he came 8th in the same championship.
In 2015, in the 500 meters at the Speed Skating World Cup in Salt Lake City, he took 3rd place, in the same year in Heerenveen, in the 500 meters in the first race, he took 12th place, in the second race — 9th place. In 2016, in the team sprint at the World Cup in Nagano, he took 1st place, in Heerenveen - 2nd place.
In 2015, at the World Speed Skating Championships in the distance of 500 meters, he won a bronze medal.
In 2016, he took 6th place in the 1000-meter distance at the World Speed Skating Championships. In 2017, he took 12th place in the same distance at the World Championships.
At the 2017 World Speed Skating Championships in the sprint all-around, he took 6th place.
In 2017, he took 9th place in the 500 meters at the World Championships, and 8th place in the 1000 meters.
