Denyshi

Denishi is located 20 km west of Zhytomyr . The village is located on the rocky left bank of Teterev , 3 km downstream from the confluence of Bobrovka . It occupies an area of ​​1.324 km².

The village has been known since the 18th century, it was called Dunaets . Since 1903, it belonged to the Tereshchenko family, who in 1911 built a palace here.

In 1848-1901, an iron foundry worked in the village.

The population according to the 2001 census was 1164 people.

The village of Denishi is the administrative center of the Denishovsky village council .
