Charles Lock Eastlake (1793-1865) was a British painter, writer, and photographer. He was born on November 17, 1793, in Plymouth, England. Eastlake studied at Charterhouse School. Throughout his life, he held citizenship in the Kingdom of Great Britain and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland.
Besides painting, Eastlake was also involved in writing and photography. His mother, Mary Pierce, was an important figure in his life. Unfortunately, Eastlake passed away on December 24, 1865, in Pisa, Italy.
