C. S. Lewis, also known as Clive Staples Lewis, was a British writer, poet, novelist, philosopher, and screenwriter. He was born on November 29, 1898, in Belfast and held citizenship in the United Kingdom. He passed away on November 22, 1963, in Oxford.
Lewis was educated at various institutions, including University College, Oxford, Malvern College, Campbell College, and Wynyard School. His written works spanned multiple genres, such as science fiction, apologetics, and fantasy.
