Artur Ekert

Artur Ekert is a physicist born on September 19, 1961, in Wrocław. He is known for his work in the field of quantum computing and communications. Ekert pursued his education at the University of Oxford, Jagiellonian University, and Wolfson College, Oxford. He was a doctoral student under the guidance of physicist Peter Knight.

Ekert has also mentored doctoral students Patrick Hayden, a scientist, and Michele Mosca, both contributing to the field of quantum computing.
