Anthony Maria Zaccaria

Anthony Maria Zaccaria (1502-1539) was a presbyter, physician, and founder of the religious order Barnabites. He was born in Cremona, a city in the Duchy of Milan, where he held citizenship. Zaccaria pursued his education at the University of Padua and the University of Pavia. After completing his studies, he worked as a physician before becoming a presbyter. Zaccaria passed away in his birthplace, Cremona, on July 5, 1539.
