Andrew Lang

Andrew Lang (1844-1912) was a prominent British poet, writer, historian, journalist, and anthropologist. Born on March 31, 1844, in Selkirk, Scottish Borders, he held citizenship in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland. Lang was educated at prestigious institutions, including the Edinburgh Academy, University of St Andrews, Loretto School, Selkirk High School, and Balliol College, Oxford. He passed away on July 20, 1912, in Banchory.

One of Lang's notable works was "Andrew Lang's Fairy Books", a collection of folktales and fairy stories from around the world. With his wide range of occupations, Lang contributed to various fields of knowledge using his diverse skillset and expertise.
