Alfred North Whitehead

Alfred North Whitehead (1861-1947) was a British philosopher, mathematician, and physicist. He was born on February 15, 1861, in Ramsgate, United Kingdom, and died on December 30, 1947, in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

Whitehead was educated at Trinity College, Cambridge. Throughout his career, he focused on various disciplines, including philosophy, mathematics, and physics. He held citizenship in the United Kingdom.

During his time at Cambridge, Whitehead supervised several doctoral students who would go on to become prominent figures in their respective fields. These students included Bertrand Russell, John Maynard Keynes, and Arthur Eddington.
