Alexander Suvorov (born November 13, 1730) was a military personnel and officer in the armed forces of the Russian Empire. He was born in Moscow and died in Saint Petersburg on May 6, 1800. Suvorov held various high-ranking titles, such as Marshall, Generalissimo, commander, and Field Marshal General.
He was a citizen of the Russian Empire and was educated at the Semyonov Life Guards Regiment. Alexander Suvorov is the father of Arkadi Suvorov.
Throughout his career, Suvorov received numerous awards, including the Order of St. Vladimir, Order of Saint Alexander Nevsky, Order of Saint George, and Order of Saint Anne. He was also the founder of Tiraspol, a city located in present-day Moldova.
In addition to his military accomplishments, Alexander Suvorov was also the creator of "The Science of Winning," a treatise on military strategy and tactics.
