A pupil of the Grodno Sports School No. 6. He started his adult career in amateur teams. He made his debut in masters competitions at the age of 18, in the last season of the USSR championship in the second league as part of the Grodno "Chemist" (later - "Neman").
Since 1992, he has played with his club in the Belarusian top league. Since the 1993/94 season, he became the main goalkeeper of the club, but later sometimes gave way in the frame. In just 12 years, he played 185 matches in the national championship as a member of Neman. Winner of the Cup of Belarus in 1993 (did not play in the final), silver medalist of the championship of Belarus in 2002 (in the "golden match" remained in reserve). He played one match in European competitions, in 1993 against the Swiss "Lugano" (2:1). During his performances for Neman, he also played for Avtoprovod (Shchuchin) and Neman-2 in the lower leagues, and in 2001-2002 he played only for the double in the doubles championship.
