The company has also developed and maintains a sophisticated extranet/intranet infrastructure that allows Doremus, a subsidiary of Omnicom Communication, to provide its advertising services to 50 leading financial institutions in real time.

The company began providing Internet and e-commerce services with the catalog division of Playboy Enterprises, creating and hosting two e-commerce sites, Critics Choice Video and Collectors Choice Music.

Since then, he has been partnering with these companies to provide ongoing hosting and maintenance for their sites. Auddia was originally formed as Clip Interactive LLC in January 2012, as a limited liability company under the laws of the State of Colorado. Vodacast is an interactive podcasting platform and app, allowing podcasters and their audiences interactive audio experiences. Podcasters create supplemental digital content on the Vodacast platform, which gives listeners the ability see video and other digital content in a digital feed that correlates with the podcast audio. This includes commercial content, which turns audio ads in podcasts into direct response enabled digital ads. All content presented in the digital feed can be synched to the podcast audio content. This allows users to visually experience and interact with audio content in podcasts, so long as the users are listening on the Vodacast app, or any other platform that supports the Vodacast enhanced digital feed.

Taitron Components is a supplier of original designed and manufactured (ODM) products including value-added engineering and turn-key solutions. The company is focused on providing original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and contract electronic manufacturers (CEMs) with ODM products and electronic components for their multi-year turn-key projects. It also distributes discrete semiconductors, commodity integrated circuits (ICs), optoelectronic devices, and passive components.

In August 2013, Mitcham Industries entered a three-year, $50.0 million syndicated revolving credit facility with HSBC Bank USA, N.A., replacing First Victoria National Bank.

In November the same year, Seamap completed the trial of its new GunLink 3000 Hydrophone Acquisition and Gun Control System, providing enhanced source control and reducing diameter umbilicals.

Products & Services

The equipment leasing segment provides short-term leasing of seismic equipment to seismic data acquisition contractors and oil field service providers. Its lease pool equipment sales includes seismic recording land channels, geophones and cables, air guns, streamer positioning equipment, and downhole equipment lease pool, heli-pickers and related equipment. In addition, the company also provides systems integration, hardware and software maintenance. Its Seamap Equipment Sales division markets products to the marine seismic industry, including GunLink seismic source acquisition and control systems, BuoyLink RGPS tracking systems.

History

B.O.S. Better Online Solutions was founded in 1990 by Israel (Izzy) Gal after he left IIS (Intelligent Information Systems, LTD., an Israeli company where Gal worked as a product manager for AS/400 related products. In its early years B.O.S. specialized in twinax terminal emulation software. In 2009 B.O.S. sold the rights to its e-Twinax Controller, a controller[disambiguation needed] providing TCP/IP compatibility with older twinax devices without the use of SNA, to Phoenix-based 10ZiG Technology. In 2010 B.O.S. closed its two U.S. supply chain subsidiaries (formerly Summit Radio Corp.) due to turbulence in the executive jet market.

In 1996 B.O.S. began trading on what was then the Nasdaq SmallCap Market (today the Nasdaq Capital Market), and in 2000 the company's shares were upgraded to the Nasdaq National Market. Between 2002 and 2009 B.O.S. shares were listed on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange. In 2009 B.O.S.'s shares were transferred to the Nasdaq Capital Market.

In 2004 Adiv Baruch replaced founder Israel Gal as CEO of the company. In 2006, Baruch was replaced by Shmuel Koren. Koren resigned in 2008 and was succeeded by Shalom Daskal. Daskal left the company in 2009, his place taken by Yuval Viner. Viner has been CEO of the company since 2009.

Acquisitions

In May 2005, Amphenol acquired SV Microwave, a manufacturer of RF connectors, components and cable assemblies.

On October 10, 2005, Teradyne and Amphenol announced that Amphenol would acquire Teradyne Connection Systems, for about USD $390 million in cash. TCS, based in Nashua, New Hampshire, manufactures high-density electronic connectors, complete backplanes, and systems packaging, a product line that complements Amphenol's existing lines of business.

In February 2008, Amphenol acquired SEFEE, a French electronic manufacturer, the next year in 2009 it acquired Jaybeam Wireless. Jaybeam Wireless became Amphenol Jaybeam and is now Amphenol Antenna Solutions.

On November 15, 2013, Amphenol announced it had entered an agreement to acquire Advanced Sensors Business of GE for approx. $318 million.

In December 2013, Amphenol acquired Tecvox OEM Solutions LLC, a business started by Raj Khanijow based in Huntsville AL. Tecvox is a leader in automotive OEM USB connectivity products. Tecvox was the first automotive company to release the OEM USB based media hub and charger.

On January 8, 2016, Amphenol finalized its deal to acquire FCI Asia Pte Ltd an interconnect company specializing in the telecom, datacom and wireless communications markets.

In July 2016, Amphenol acquired AUXELFTG (AUXEL), a French manufacturer of power busbars and power interconnect solutions.

In January 2017, Amphenol acquired Phitek Ltd, a New Zealand-based manufacturer and the world's leading supplier of electronic noise-cancellation, audio enhancement and other electronic touch point devices in the aircraft cabin.

In June 2017, Amphenol acquired Wilcoxon Research (US), Piezo Technologies (US) and Piher Sensors and Controls (Spain), three Industrial Sensing businesses from the British engineering group Meggitt PLC.

In December 2020, Amphenol announced it had reached an agreement to acquire MTS Systems Corporation in an acquisition completed on April 7, 2021.
