ABOUT REVV RACING

Welcome to REVV Racing! REVV Racing is an arcade simulation car racing blockchain game developed by Animoca Brands. It is the newest play-to-earn title in the REVV Motorsport metaverse of racing games.

With REVV Racing, we wanted to develop a blockchain-based game with the quality, look, and feel of a traditional video game.

In REVV Racing, cars are non-fungible tokens (NFTs) and all play sessions are registered on blockchain - but the game looks and plays like the 3D car racing games you have played on your console or PC.

REVV Motorsport is the ecosystem for motorsport blockchain games developed by Animoca Brands, currently including F1® Delta Time, MotoGP™ Ignition, Formula E: High Voltage and REVV Racing.

All REVV Motorsport games are connected by the utility token REVV, which serves as the primary currency of purchase, utility, and action across all the games. REVV is designed for use across multiple connected products.

Most importantly, REVV powers true digital ownership of your in-game assets, allowing you complete freedom and control over your NFT game items - sell them or trade them as you wish!

For Johnny Depp there has always been art. Before acting, and before music, art has always been an important outlet for his creativity. While his acting skills are obviously the foundation of his fame, the recent very positive reception to his music with Hollywood Vampires has encouraged him, and emboldened him, to share his art.

In this first public exposure of Johnny’s art he has focussed on ‘Friends and Heroes’. People he has known well, and who have inspired him as a person. Each image is an intimate reflection of their character in Johnny’s eyes; a portrayal of how they have revealed themselves to him.

Working from photographic references each image has been stripped back to a simpler and more iconic portrayal of the subject, which Johnny has then developed and energised with his characteristic freehand flourishes.

Johnny’s art exists at the intersection of ‘Pop Art’ and ‘Street Art’. Recognisable images of people in popular culture are recast in vibrant, bright colours; and overlayed with the energy and wit of Street Art. The result is a series of iconic images of media figures that have moved beyond the impersonal graphic simplicity of Pop Art. It’s Pop Art with feeling.

In addition to Johnny’s ‘Friends and Heroes’, he has included a picture of himself treated in the same way; an image of an old family friend - the dog ‘Mooh’; and one of ‘Bunnyman’, the legendary subject of one of his son’s dreams.
