The large debris was moved farther away from the coast, and the small wastes, plastic, tons of glass were left at the same place.

A few decades later, nature itself slowly sorted out the traces of human activity. Ocean waters have cleaned the beach and sharpened every piece of glass. The resulting colorful pebbles of different sizes.

Now billions of glass pieces dot the entire coastline. McKerrich Park bought the area and protected the marvelous site. Park staff cleared the beach covered with glass.
