Treston hails from Minneapolis, Minnesota, where he lived with his wife and their two kids until the family decided to seek a change of pace. The Wolds knew that Big Sky would be the perfect fit for their young family–Treston has made regular visits to the growing mountain town since 2006 and his wife has been coming to Big Sky with her family each summer and winter since she was a child. The couple even had their wedding in Big Sky in 2014 at the 320 Ranch, with the Gallatin Riverhouse Grill–a local favorite–serving as HQ for the groom’s dinner. So in December 2019, they made the dream a reality.

Treston graduated with a bachelor’s in accounting from the University of North Dakota, and brings 10 years of experience working in public accounting and for publicly traded companies on the NASDAQ and NYSE to his role as controller at Outlaw. When he isn’t in the office you can find him skiing, golfing, hiking and going on adventures with his wife and two kids.

As CEO of Outlaw Partners, Megan is responsible for overseeing the growth strategy for the Outlaw family of brands. Her experience and leadership has been focused on developing and delivering creative solutions and profitable revenue growth in marketing, media, and events verticals. Prior to co-founding Outlaw, Megan served as marketing director at Yellowstone Club, leading initiatives that helped drive the sales team’s achievement of $1 billion in real estate sales. She holds a BS in Mass Communications, Public Relations, and Marketing from Black Hills State University in South Dakota.

Megan has over 17 years of experience in marketing and sales capacities within high-end private club and resort communities, including sales, marketing, and management roles with Barefoot Resort, Resort Condominiums International (RCI), Kampgrounds of America (KOA), and AFRC Europe Garmish-Partenkirchen. When she’s not in the office you can find Megan skiing, camping, hiking, rafting and enjoying Montana’s great outdoors with her husband, two sons, and two dogs.

Eric Ladd is the founder and Chairman of Outlaw Partners, L&K Real Estate, Outlaw Real Estate Partners and Boundary Expeditions. With over 30 years of experience in real estate sales and development, marketing, events, media, restaurant management, resort operations and expedition guiding, Eric has worked in leadership or consulting capacities with brands including Vail Resorts, Yellowstone Club, Baldface Cat Skiing and Everlands. Eric has a strong entrepreneurial passion supporting charity organizations that focus on preservation of land, rivers and wildlife, and is also involved with charitable groups supporting orphans in Nepal.

Eric and his team formed Outlaw Partners in 2009. Quickly becoming one of the regions largest marketing, media and event companies, Outlaw produces three publications with more than 1.5 million annual readers in addition to nationally recognized marketing campaigns.

Eric and the Outlaws have created acclaimed events, producing the eight-time award-winning Big Sky PBR, TEDxBig Sky, Jackson Hole PBR, and a series of headliner concerts including the inaugural 2019 Peak to Sky show. In 2019, the Outlaw Events division of the company hosted ticketed events in Big Sky with over 25,000 attendees, and have generated over $2 million in donations for local charities since inception.

Ranked as one of the Top 10 real estate salespeople in the U.S., Eric’s role as senior sales representative led Yellowstone Club to achieve over $1 billion in sales – one of the most successful runs in real estate in the last decade.

In 2010, Eric co-founded L&K Real Estate and Outlaw Real Estate Partners (OREP), a development and consulting boutique brokerage based in Big Sky, Montana. With over 50 years combined experience and now an industry leader in luxury real estate and consulting for top resort brands such as Mukul Resort in Nicaragua, L&K has achieved more than $2 billion in real estate sales and OREP has over $500M in development projects currently being worked on in SW Montana.

Eric launched Boundary Expeditions in 2016, operating multi-day river rafting trips on the Middle Fork of the Salmon River in Idaho. His passion for wilderness, rivers and guiding has never subsided after learning to guide at the age of 15 and later completing expeditions including the 2007 first descent of the Salween River in Tibet and the 2009 high-water descent of the Yangtze River in China.
