Begbie named Jim Francis, is now a Scottish expatriate artist in California and is returning to Scotland for the funeral of his murdered son. His wife Melanie is slowly coming to terms with Jim's dark past.

Welsh returns to his character Terry Lawson, first introduced in Glue, this book takes place 10 years after the events of Porno during the 2011 Scottish hurricane Bawbag. The title of the book is a double description of Lawson's sexual prowess and his work in this novel as a taxi driver.
