Zerochain is basically designed to store encrypted data.
Usually, all data on blockchain is public and everyone can see it, while the data on Zerochain is encrypted so that no-one can see the data without the key for decryption.
Zerochain is built on Substrate which is the blockchain framework developed by Parity, and also using the bellman library developed by Zcash for zero-knowledge proof system. In the future, Zerochain would work as a privacy-preserving blockchain connecting to Polkadot network.
Zerochain is basically designed to store encrypted data.
zCloak Network is a privacy-focused computing platform based on Polkadot.
It uses a novel zk-STARK virtual machine for general purpose computations.
It enables a new computation paradigm called the Cloaking Space, which provides a private and scalable computation environment for Web 3.0. With zCloak Network, people can use their real-world data for e.g. DeFi, NFT applications without disclosing their privacy. zCloak Network will adopt a business model of Zero-Knowledge Proof as a Service for major public blockchains. zCloak Network was formerly known as Starks Network.
It can be implemented on any blockchain with a Turing-complete virtual machine. Our proposed initial implementation is on the Ethereum blockchain.
Within Akropolis, users are free to choose decentralized smart contract-based self-custody or nominate a regulated custodian. The protocol or its team do, and will not store user data or engage in regulated activities such as facilitating or promoting investment activities.
