Meesho founder

Vidit Aatrey, an almunus of IIT-Delhi (2012 batch), embarked on the journey of creating Meesho in 2015 with an aim to build an ecommerce startup for small businesses at a time when everyone told them that ecommerce is saturated. Four years and two pivots later, he claims to have built India’s largest social commerce platform.

Meesho's vision is to enable 100M Small Businesses in India to succeed online. We have 10M+ women entrepreneurs running biz online and we are just getting started.

Meesho has raised ~$500M from Softbank, Naspers, Facebook, Sequoia, Elevation, Shunwei, Venture Highway, Y Combinator and others.

Over 30 years experience in managing and developing business for the defence, aerospace, R&D and Telco industries with special focus on high-performance computing, innovative processing algorithms and dedicated HW products. Strong scientific and technological background combined with deep skills in Project Management. Member of the IEEE since 1980.

DUNE is an Engineering Company operating since 1980 in aerospace, defence, R&D, industrial control and telecommunication fields.

- 30+ years experience in analysis, design and development of real-time SW and HW, original algorithm assessment, simulation and optimization, innovative projects management

- 10+ years experience in leading and managing Research European Projects (proposal presentation, international partner contacts, project management, proposal of innovative ideas)

- full support to the Customer Project Manager along the entire life-cycle of the products (drafting of the technical documentation, assessment of the requisites and specifications, design reviews, testing, validation and integration activities)

The company’s skills in providing application-ready and/or customized solutions as well as the capability to seek innovative technological solutions enable customers to minimize program risks, reduce development costs and accelerate time to deployment and time-to-market of the products.

The Company is certified UNI ISO 9001:2008 for professional HW and SW development and since 2004 it has been acknowledged as a Research Laboratory of the Italian Ministry of Education and Research (MIUR).

It is located in the center of Rome in three operating premises.

Scott Kleinman joined Apollo Global Management, in 1996 and is currently the Private Equity lead partner. As a senior partner, he is also a member of Apollo’s Senior Management Committee. For the past decade, Mr. Kleinman has focused on Apollo’s cyclical industrial businesses, including companies in the chemicals, forest products and industrialindustries.

Prior to joining Apollo in 1996, Mr. Kleinman was employed by Smith Barney Inc., in its Investment Banking Division. Mr. Kleinman serves on the Board of Directors for Momentive Performance Materials Holdings LLC and Verso Corporation.

Mr. Kleinman received a B.A. and B.S. from the University of Pennsylvania and the Wharton School of Business, respectively, graduating magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa.
