Metallurg is a professional Russian ice hockey club based in Magnitogorsk, playing in the Kontinental Hockey League. Winner of the Russian Cup in 1998 (winner of the playoff, which was held separately from the Russian championship). Two-time winner of the Gagarin Cup in the seasons 2013/2014 and 2015/2016. Finalist of the season 2016-2017, Champion of Russia 1999,2001,2007,2014,2016. Euroleague winner 1999,2000 European Super Cup 2000 Spengler Cup 2005 European Champions Cup 2008 Eastern Conference winner 2014,2016,2017. Winner of the Opening Cup 2014,2016
The club was founded in 1955. Metallurg currently plays in the Kharlamov Division of the Eastern Conference.
The home stadium is the Metallurg Arena, which seats 7,704 spectators[1]. Metallurg is the most titled club in Europe and the recent history of Russia
