Evgeni Vladimirovich Malkin (Russian: Евге́ний Влади́мирович Ма́лкин, IPA: [jɪvˈɡʲenʲɪj ˈmaɫkʲɪn];[2][3] born 31 July 1986) is a Russian professional ice hockey centre and alternate captain for the Pittsburgh Penguins of the National Hockey League (NHL). Nicknamed "Geno", Malkin began his career with his hometown club Metallurg Magnitogorsk, playing for their junior and senior teams. He was then selected second overall in the 2004 NHL Draft by the Pittsburgh Penguins, though an international transfer dispute delayed the start of his NHL career until 2006. After his first season with the Penguins Malkin was awarded the Calder Memorial Trophy as the NHL's best rookie. In his second season, he helped lead Pittsburgh to the 2008 Stanley Cup Final and was a runner-up for the Hart Memorial Trophy, awarded to the NHL's most valuable player during the regular season. The following season saw Malkin win the Art Ross Trophy.

Danis Zinnurovich Zaripov (Russian: Данис Зиннурович Зарипов, Tatar: Данис Зиннур улы Зарипов; born 26 March 1981) is a Russian professional ice hockey left winger currently playing for Ak Bars Kazan of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL). Zaripov was also a member of the Russia men's national ice hockey team for the 2010 Winter Olympics.
Playing career
Zaripov won the Gagarin Cup five times (2009, 2010, 2014, 2016, 2018). In 2017, Zaripov was banned from the IIHF through 2019 for testing positive for pseudoephedrine, an ingredient commonly found in allergy medicine and nasal decongestants. He has expressed interest in playing in the National Hockey League, which does not ban the substance.

He has a son Arthur with his wife, Tatiana, with whom he has been in a relationship since the year 2000.

Sergei Olegovich Zinovjev (Russian: Серге́й Олегович Зиновьев; born March 4, 1980 in Prokopyevsk, Russian SFSR, Soviet Union) is a Russian former professional ice hockey centre and General Manager of his original club, Metallurg Novokuznetsk of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL). He is two-time World Champion (2008, 2009) for the Russian national team.
Zinovjev was selected 73rd overall by the Boston Bruins in the 2000 NHL Entry Draft. Zinovjev has played ten career NHL games, scoring one assist. In 2004, Zinovjev was released from the Russian national team after testing positive for marijuana. In July 2009, he signed a five-year contract in a return with Salavat Yulaev Ufa. He concluded his 16-year professional career following the 2013–14 season.

Vladislav Aleksandrovich Tretiak, MSM (treet-YAK, Russian: Владислав Александрович Третьяк, IPA: [trʲɪˈtʲjak]; born 25 April 1952) is a Russian former goaltender for the Soviet Union national ice hockey team. Considered to be one of the greatest goaltenders in the history of the sport, he was voted one of six players to the International Ice Hockey Federation's (IIHF) Centennial All-Star Team in a poll conducted by a group of 56 experts from 16 countries.[1] He is the current president of the Ice Hockey Federation of Russia and was the general manager of the Russian 2010 Winter Olympic team.
