What is Verus ($VRSC)
Verus Coin is a technological project with the objective of providing a PBaaS. The platform introduces a consensus algorithm referred to as Proof of Power. It is a 50 percent PoW/50 percent PoS algorithm aiming to resolve problems plaguing PoS systems. Verus utilizes VerusHash 2.0, which is a quantum-resistant hash algorithm with the objective of bridging the performance gap found between CPUs, GPUs, and FPGAs. The project's vision is to enable automatic blockchain provisioning with PBaaS, offered by Verus miners and stakers. The project is advertised to be a community project, without an initial coin offering or pre-mine.
