Valentina Matviyenko

Valentina Matviyenko is a Russian politician , diplomat , and statesman . Born on 7th April 1949 in Shepetivka , she holds citizenship in Russia and the former Soviet Union .

Matviyenko received her education from the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation and the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration .

Throughout her career, she has been recognized for her work with numerous awards, including the Order of Honor , Order of Merit for the Fatherland in various classes , and the Stolypin Medal, 1st class . Additional honors include the Russian Federation Presidential Certificate of Honour , the Knight of the Legion of Honour , and the Dostlug Order .
