University of Fribourg

The University of Fribourg, also known as Université de Fribourg and Universität Freiburg, is a public educational institute located in Fribourg, Switzerland. Established in 1889, the university operates in the education, higher education, and university industries.

The University of Fribourg is situated near the Fribourg railway station. With a motto of "Science et Sagesse", the university is affiliated with the European University Association and the Swiss University Conference.

Accreditation for the University of Fribourg is provided by the State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation, as well as the Federal Office for Professional Education and Technology.
