Udacity is a California-based educational technology company that has a platform that can be utilized by students to learn programming skills for careers such as web developer, data analyst, and mobile developers. Enterprises can also utilize the platform for developing their own employees' technical skills.

Students can earn "nanodegrees" through Udacity. The programs combine online learning tools, one-on-one remote mentoring, customized learning plans, and real-world projects. Career services are also offered upon the completion of the program and include resume and interview preparation.

The company has separated its programs into separate schools including programming and development, artificial intelligence, cloud computing, data science, business, and autonomous systems. Programs cover topics such as Javascript development and marketing analytics. Programs and courses have been developed by the company with input from major technology companies such as Google and AT&T. There have been over 800,000 students who have earned a nanodegree through Udacity.
