The method may include processing an electronic audio file to generate audio pace data, storing the audio pace data, receiving the electronic audio file and pace data, collecting electronic fitness data during a fitness activity; generating activity pace data; and playing the electronic audio file based on a comparison of the audio pace data and the activity pace data.
