The Access Group

The Access Group is a provider of business management software to small- and mid-sized organizations based in the United Kingdom, Ireland, and Asia-Pacific. It was founded in 1989. The Access Group provides customer assistance with its products and solutions, from the onboarding and adoption processes and beyond. Its adaptive technology ensures that businesses don't outgrow their established solutions. The Access Group employs over 5,000 people, and the company serves more than 60,000 customers.

In 2011, Lyceum Capital backed a management buyout of The Access Group. In January 2015, TA Associates took over Lyceum's majority interest in the company.

• Access People was launched in September 2020 as an HR software, content, and services division of The Access Group.

• Access Recruitment provides front and back office technology for agencies from startups to large enterprises.
• Access Non-Profit and Education provides software for over 10,000 public sector, charity, and educational organizations in the UK and Ireland.
• Access PaySuite is a division focused on integrated payment experiences. It was launched in June 2021.
• Access Legal, launched in April 2021, is a legal software division that assists ambitious law firms in the UK.

• Access Hospitality is designed for operators of hospitality services including restaurants, bars, and hotels. It was launched in November 2017.

• Access PeopleXD is a mobile-first, end-to-end software as a service (SaaS) HR solution providing unified payroll for UK and Irish businesses through a fully integrated suite of various products of The Access Group.
• Access Financials (formerly Dimensions) is a cloud-based accounting software solution.
• Access Health and Safety provides training courses and tools for risk management regarding health and safety in all forms, including Covid-19 symptom tracking.

• Access Workspace is an integrated software solution that combines The Access Group's business software solutions––payroll, human resources, digital learning, and finance operations––into one platform that is accessible to all employees.

• Access Manufacturing ERP combines financial, MRP, and production software together under a single cloud-based platform.
• Access Weighsoft is a digital waste management software that streamlines order processing.
• Access Warehouse Management System (WMS) is a cloud-based software suite designed for third-party logistics (3PL) warehouses, wholesalers, and e-commerce operations in the UK. It uses intelligent automation to improve orders and inventory management.

• Access Learning Management Systems (LMS) provides a system of online training courses and learning tools to employees that blends the needs of office-based, hybrid, and remote employees.

Since its founding, The Access Group has made many acquisitions of other companies to expand its services. It has acquired companies such as Servelec, Eclipse Legal Systems, Vincere, Fathom, Reckon Accountants Group, Microdec, TeamSeer, and Riliance.
