Tecnet Equity

Tecnet Equity is an Austria-based venture capital company with a focus on investing in seed and early-stage information and communication technology startups. It mainly invests in companies located in the state of Lower Austria.

When the company makes venture capital investments, it has a four-stage plan for the investment partnership: initiation, consisting of a business plan review and strategy workshop, evaluation, investment, and exit. During the partnership, Tecnet Equity states that portfolio companies can expect communication with investment managers, analysis and strategiziing, organizational development, and networking opportunities. It offers up to €3 million. in venture capital to its portfolio companies and invests in industries such as industrial technologies, information and communication technologies, material sciences, life sciences, and environmental technology .

Tecnet Equity also offers a research-to-value program that offers support to entrepreneurs. The program consists of check-ups on the research being done for the potential startup, trainings, coaching, and workshops for the entrepreneurs. This program is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (EFRE).
