Established in 2014, the Swiss ICT Investor Club (SICTIC) is a non-profit association connecting investors to technology start-ups in the seed and early stages. The association itself does not invest or receive commissions on investments.
SICTIC connects investors to Swiss companies online and at pitching events. The angel network has offices in Zürich, Lausanne, and Ticino. At different times of the year, the association runs the SICTIC Investor Day in Zürich, Lausanne, Geneva, Zug, Baar, Lugano, and Liechtenstein. These events offer tech start-ups the opportunity to pitch to investors. The non-profit organizes the deal flow between investors and their chosen Swiss start-ups; then, the investors give directly to the start-ups.
SICTIC Investors are required to pay a flat fee to get complimentary access to the association's matchmaking events, the start-up deal flow database, and a physical Swiss Angel Investor Handbook. Before joining, interested investors who want to know more about the community can attend as a guest to the SICTIC Investor Day by buying a regular event ticket.
