StyleSeat announced the first installment of their Seed funding with $775,000 raised from Uncork Capital, Travis Kalanick, Sophia Bush, Point Nine Capital, Pathfinder, Paige Craig, Joe Stump, Garrett Camp, Dave Morin, Chris Sacca, Ashton Kutcher, Alfred Lin and 500 Startups.
On February 11, 2013 StyleSeat raised a second installment of their Seed funding with $4 million raised. Cowboy Ventures led the round with participation from Lowercase Capital and 500 Startups. With the funding, StyleSeat launched their "To You" feature which allows clients to book same-day or later stylists appointments to wherever.
On January 2, 2014, StyleSeat announced their Series A funding with a total raised amount of $10.2 million. Lightspeed Venture Partners led the round with participation from Slow Ventures, Pathfinder, Lowercase Capital, LAUNCH Fund, Justin Mateen, Base Ventures and AFSquare. They committed the capital to grow their platform and double the StyleSeat team.
StyleSeat announced the close of their Series B on July 13, 2015 with $25 million raised. Fosun RZ Capital led the round with participation from Slow Ventures, Pathfinder, Lightspeed Venture Partners and Cowboy Ventures.
StyleSeat announced on January 19, 2016 their acquisition of BeautyBooked. BeautyBooked was a discoveery and booking platform for high end salons and spas, and StyleSeat saw the acquisition enabling them to expand into the salon and spa segment.
