Spheroid Universe (SU) claims to be a platform for developing and launching projects in Augmented Reality (AR). The platform’s technological foundation claims to be the Spheroid AR Cloud OS and Spheroid Script programming language. SU also claims to be a technological ecosystem based on breakthrough technologies that help to connect the AR world with the real world for Gaming, Entertainment, Advertising, Education, various types of services and activities with extensive monetization possibilities for participants.

SU has divided the Earth's surface into 50m*50m plots (Spaces) and SU sells these Spaces to the buyers. It's supposed that Space owner will be able to place 3D AR objects on their Space.
One can already test it using Demiuge tab in SU marketplace. One can create an app using Spheroid Script language examples and see the results in XR Hub app for iOS and Android.

A buyer can mint an ERC-721 NFT to secure their rights to the Space. Up till Jan 2022 it was only NFT tokens on ETH blockchain. In January 2022 SU informed their users that it's going to give an option of minting Space NFT in another unnamed blockchain.

A user can make an initial purchase of Spaces in SU marketplace using SPH (ERC-20) tokens. SPH can be obtained on Uniswap, 1inch, LAtoken exchanges.
SU claimed that it does not need to attract fundings from other companies as it can finance its operations from Spaces sales proceeds.

In Jan 2022 SU announced the beginning of scanning of the real-world objects (buildings, monuments) for Spheroid.Earth with XR Hub app for iPhones.
