Abstract

Spectral Labs will innovate upon prior efforts for DHS/DOE/DOD to provide a suite of relevant VR and Just In Time (JIT) mobile training software to improve the efficacy and  flexibility of current egress and parachute training for pilots and air crew.  The latest in commercial VR hardware will be leveraged for use with existing parachute harness rigs to simulate parachute malfunction scenarios. Additionally, mobile web deployed refresher training software will be developed to enable JIT training of the CSEL radio to enable refresh prior to combat missions. The first program phase will enable Spectral Labs to target stakeholders in addition to those already identified in order to refine requirements and focus a Phase 2 design effort to a solution with broader benefit to the USAF.
