The Society for Hematology and Stem Cells (ISEH), also called the International Society for Experimental Hematology, is a non-profit organization based in Chicago. The purpose of the society is to promote scientific knowledge and clinical application of basic hematology, immunology, stem cell research, cell and gene therapy and all related aspects through research, publications, discussion, support of young investigators and organization of scientific meetings. The official journal of the organization is Experimental Hematology.
ISEH was established in 1950 as a forum for the presentation and discussion of pre-clinical data in experimental hematology. The society was incorporated in 1972 in the USA. The group sponsors international meetings as well as fellowships and awards.
