Shannon Lucid

Shannon Lucid is an American astronaut and chemist born on January 14, 1943, in Shanghai. After completing her education at Bethany High School, Lucid went on to attend the University of Oklahoma and later received training at NASA. She holds citizenship in the United States, and currently resides in the country.

In addition to being an astronaut, Lucid's occupations include being a chemist and a biochemist. Throughout her career, she has received several accolades, including the prestigious NASA medal.
