Sean S. Cunningham , born on December 31, 1941 , is a film producer, director, writer, and screenwriter from the United States. He was born in New York City and holds a US nationality. Cunningham was educated at Stanford University and Marshall College.

Cunningham is the founder of Crystal Lake Entertainment, and he is known for directing and producing multiple horror films since the early 1970s.
