Sabrewing Aircraft Company is a manufacturer of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) for commercial heavy-lift cargo operations. The company develops drones and UAVs that operate in extreme weather conditions, are built to be fuel efficient, and do not require a charging station.

Sabrewing Aircraft Company's Rhaegal RG-1 is a regional cargo UAV that offers high-efficiency, all-weather operation with vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) capabilities. The Rhaegal is capable of carrying up to 5,400 pounds/2,455 kilograms over a distance of 1850 kilometers at a cruise speed of 200 knots/370 kilometers per hour. The Rhaegal has a max carrying capacity of 10,000 pounds/4545 kilograms for a traditional take-off. Further, the UAV has folding wings to allow for easier ground transport and storage. And it offers a nose entry cargo bay to allow for easy cargo access from the ground without the need for special loading equipment.

The Rhaegal aircraft was developed in partnership with Safran for the turboshaft motors, Leonardo Aerospace for avionics, Toray for composite materials, Garmin for navigation, Attollo Engineering for Lidar capabilities, Spider Tracks for remote positioning, US Cargo Systems for cargo floors, and software developed by California State Channel Islands University, The Ohio State University, UCLA, and Oklahoma University. The Rhaegal was designed for first, middle, and last-mile cargo deliveries, capable of lifting over ten times more cargo than other UAVs, with a greater range and the capability to operate in various airspace conditions.

The drivetrain of the Rhaegal aircraft is a turbo-electric drivetrain, based on the Ariel 2E turbine-based motor developed in partnership with Safran Helicopter Engines. The four ducted fans of Ariel are powered by electric motors and are powered by an electric generator capable of producing almost 1 megawatt of electric energy using a 50 percent sustainable aviation fuel. The Rhaegal's ducted fans' blades, ducts, and shroud have been improved by Sabrewing to allow the motors to deliver 30 percent more thrust than the traditional motor design.

Sabriwing Aircraft Company's Dragonworks Lab is located in the Hayward, California airport and has other facilities in Mountain View, California. The facility offers aircraft design, engineering, computer-aided design (CAD), computational fluid dynamics (CFD), and preliminary 3D printed components. Dragonworks Lab supports the company's development and manufacturing of UAVs, including the development of new technologies and capabilities.
