Founded in 2013 and based in Toronto, Rubikloud is an artificial intelligence company that has created a cloud-native, machine learning platform for retail. Rubikloud empowers retailers to leverage machine learning and big data systems, and is a private company that has raised $45M in venture financing as of 2019.

Rubikloud's Enterprise AI Platform is a cloud-native SaaS data platform built to handle enterprise data workloads – covering all aspects of the data journey from ingestion, validation to a proprietary retail-specific data model and machine learning application.

Rubikloud's ML (Machine Learning) approach allows them to incorporate all kinds of data into their models. The data is cleaned and stored in their proprietary, industry-specific raw device mapping cloud. Retail expertise drives questions that the AI/ML models aim to answer using an ensemble approach that automatically selects the models to use for the situation. Data is fed back into Legacy systems and will allow the AI/ML to learn Serves petabyte-level data into the applications that need it through industry standard APIs.
